Tommy Smith's great-looking Demon funny car defeated Bobby Wood's Chevy II in the second round, but blew the transmission. The resulting fire burned the Demon to the ground. Bobby was reinstated and defeated Huston Platt's Dixie Twister Camaro in the final. I'm still looking for Tommy Smith contact info.
