Charlie Brown Barracuda (far side) is ex-Pee Wee Wallace car. Hippie Hemi Charger (near side) is ex-Bernella's Funny Honey (Della Woods). Both cars were hemi powered and the Hippie Hemi won with a 7.03 on the 1000 ft. course.
This was an injected fuel funny car show (A/FC - Tom 'Smoker' Smith's East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit).
Thanks, again, to David Burlington for additional information.
(Updated February, 2003) I am writing in reference to photo GDR-0009. The Hippie Hemi Charger was owned by my dad, Pop Whitt of Norfolk, Va. It was driven by Randy Bray. I myself went to all the races at a very young age and grew up working on this funny car as well as my dad's others.
I hope this information will help you. -- Tina Whitt
