This great Wade Lowe photo of Sneaky Pete Robinson coming off the line was taken at Newton County Drag Strip. I believe this was taken in 1961, but I'm not sure if it was before or after he won Top Eliminator at Indy that year.
Wade Lowe and his brothers (Ray and Roy - twins) had drag raced in the Atlanta area for several years. Their fastest car was a beautiful ex-Art Chrisman Chrysler Hemi powered roadster.
