Thanks to Larry Davis (author of the great book Super Stock - Drag Racing the Family Sedan - go to Super Stock - Larry Davis to order your copy) for allowing GDR to use this rare shot of Hubert Platt's tube frame Mustang. This car was powered by an injected cammer and was raced very briefly by Hubert. He was picked to drive the ex-Dick Brannan long nose Mustang shortly after having this car built by Race Car Specialties. This car was sold to Dick Loehr. Note Thompson's Paint and Body on the rear quarter panel. Max Thompson (and son Tim) applied some of Atlanta's finest race car paint jobs. -- David Dilbeck
