If you want a non-stop, action-packed, in-your-face video of nostalgia drag racing, you need to pick up John Nance's NHRA 1st Annual National Hot Rod Reunion. This video features drag strip action from the National Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky (June, 2003). From Saturday's qualifying action (including night fuel racing) to Sunday's eliminations, John covers the track action nicely in this 90 minute tape.

Saturday evening's Cacklefest is a highlight! No pit shots here, just dragsters of all shapes and sizes, fuel altereds (including The Winged Express that I had waited 35 years to see), funny cars, wheelstanding nostalgia super stockers, gassers and just about anything else that you can imagine. From Arnie the Farmer Beswick's wild burnouts to Bruce Larson's USA-1 Camaro funny car to T-Bolts to classic Willys gassers, this tape has something for everyone. No music or narration, just the sounds of the cars!

I think you'll love this video whether you attended the reunion, or not!

John shot the video with a hand-held camera and most runs even have the times shown on the scoreboards. As John informs you on the video, its not Diamond P, but he does a great job and most drag racing fans will love the fast paced action. Not a lot of boring tape, just action, action, action!!!!!
